Who We Are
| |
A business is only as good as the people who
run it, and that is so very true in a creative business such as
photography. The associates at Roy Dressel Photography bring a
little bit of themselves to their jobs. Our training allows each
individual to express his or her own creative expression while
working within the boundaries of the business as a whole. What
this means to you is that you have people who are excited about
their jobs and strive to do their very best for you

Roy
Dressel
Owner
Photographer |
 |
Photography became a passion for Roy when he received a birthday
gift of a developing and printing kit for his thirteenth
birthday. He went on to work on his high school and college
yearbook and newspaper, winning awards for his photographs.
After college he sold cameras in Visalia for fifteen years,
first at J.C. Penney, where he learned about business, then at
Main Drug Store and Albert's Studio and Camera Shop. He began
Roy Dressel Photography out of his home in 1984, with a desire
for extra income and to operate his own business.
In 1993 he took the business full time, at first
continuing the business from his home, then moving into his present
location in 1996.
Roy has three grown boys, all of who work in the
business, and three grandchildren. His other passions include
motorcycling and backpacking.

new angles of view and new poses.

dad in the business since 1997 when he began to video tape
weddings. Back in 2001 he decided that he wanted to learn the

ladder and become a photographer in his own right.
Ray has an infectious energy for the job and loves
working with people. He has recently decided to do Video again. For
several years Ray has only been doing photography but the lure of

three children, Riley, Daisy and Preston. He works during the week
