We all have our favorite places, for some of us it’s you own backyard. For others is in a group of people at a party. For me, it’s being in the White Mountains of California. This desert mountains range first came to my attention when I read “The Thousand Mile Summer” by Colin Fletcher back in high school in the early 70s. I first visited the range in 1973. This post is something I will be adding to over the next few months.
